No in-app purchases except to hide ads, ads not intrusive at all, good interface and lets you use your own music as an alarm, and dim the screen even further than the default lower setting for night.
Very useful. During the night, to see the temperature, wheater, alarm, music to sleep. All in one. Amd show our pictures.
This app wakes me up in the morning with beautiful music that I have chosen.
And has accurately for years. The snooze option gas been a comfort a time or two.
The varied pictures and option of a slideshow add colour, light and beauty to the back ground of any rooms decor.

This app is exactly what I have been looking for. Works perfectly. Love it.
Decent alarm clock App. Using it daily with no problems. It would be helpful to add a way to test the volume level when setting the alarm sound/song. Would be 5 stars if it would also work with online services such as Apple Music, Google Play and Tune In Radio. The latter so I can wake to local radio (with preset selected based on GPS location for frequent travellers).
Some bad moments
Occasionally when running over night it crashes iPads audio so I have to reboot to get back any sound. Not very helpful for an alarm clock.
I paid for this app a long time ago because there was a free version with ads and paid version without. Now I have to pay extortion money to remove ads again. Good quality control apple. Drains battery overnight connecting to ad servers nonstop.
I had to give it a 1 star but waking up late for work because the app seems to have a silent alarm on any given day make me want to inform people of the tech support I didnt receive other than avoidance. Thomas, the supposed tech support, basically did nothing other than ask obvious questions that a 10 year old would ask. Then when you ask how to fix the issue, he doesnt return emails unless you threaten to go here and write bad reviews. His responses are basically blaming everything but the app itself. Waking up late for work on several occasions has left me relying on other app that is more reliable than this one. If you have no agenda, this app will work well for you but if you have a time frame to be a work I suggest you find another app or a wined up clock that is more reliable. This app is a waste of time and doe t deserve a 1/16 of a star rating. Plus tech support is useless.
Been using Nightstand for about 3 years now but lately when alarm is set, it doesnt go off despite being open and running. Ive had to test it the night before to make sure it works but just this morning, it again didnt go off again and I was staring at the clock. Double checked it was set right and it was. Also recommended app to 2 friends and they told me same thing. Will be looking for a new app now. Its bad when I have to set alarm as back up because this one doesnt work consistently.
If you like to see prominent ads when you look at a clock, this is the app for you.
The fact that changing the brightness in the app effects your phones brightness is pretty much a deal breaker for me, and its not necessary -- other clock apps can keep them separate. Problem two is that you cant make secondary info bigger below the clock. The app has had these deficiencies for years so I dont see them getting fixed any time soon.
